Hello fellow residents and cart drivers.
Dunedin Goes Carting today became aware of a path closure at Highlander Park reported by another resident. Vince Gizzi, Director of Parks & Recreation, did confirm in an eMail that both the Cedar Creek (Patricia) and Idlewild bridges on the south side of Highlander Park are under construction. As such, the trail to navigate is temporarily closed to all traffic.
We have not yet received information on the length of time for this closure or the project’s deliverable date – but DGC will pass the information along as soon as we hear anything.
We can confirm the closure is a temporary one for construction and maintenance only, and not for any other purpose.
